Published by StyleNations

Born in Pordenone in 1980, Cristina graduated in Architecture from IUAV Venice University. In 2005 she started to collaborate with prestigious design studios, focusing on interior and product design. In 2010 she moved to Milan, where she founded her brand Attico Design. She has received numerous awards and international recognition. With the aim of starting a new entrepreneurial chapter, in continuity with its history, materials and processes typical of the local territory, in 2019 Billiani entrusted Celestino with the artistic direction of the company.

Philosophy

A great collector of Italian design masterpieces and curious towards all objects, her work is based on observation and research, plumbing the potential of the shapes, functions and going beyond the traditional relations between fashion, art and design and embedding a passionate interest for the old and the new, the traditional and the contemporary in her projects, she develops creative solutions and freely plays with ideas.

COROLLA COLLECTION

Cristina Celestino designs a collection of arm chairs with soft and harmonious shapes. The rounded volumes are lightened by the worked wood base, Billiani’s stylistic code. The Corolla is available in Arm Chair, Lounge Chair, Bergère and Sofa.

Frisée is a collection that combines the solidity of wood with an ironic and joyful frivolity. Cristina Celestino’s soft and enveloping touch exalts Billiani’s materials and know-how with pure colours, corners that turn into delicate curves and bulb-end legs. Although designed for the contract market, Frisée expresses a cultured and sophisticated lightness that gives a nod to the world of cabinet making.

FRISÉE COLLECTION

The Frisée collection includes Dining chair, Arm chair and Bar stool all with an upholstered seat option.
